| Introduction |
Thanks to the baby boomer generation, approximately eight to
ten golfers turn 50 years old (young) every minute. This invasion of
mature golfers will continue for the next several decades. With the ever
increasing interest for senior golfers to compete in a play-for-pay
environment, the Boomers Golf.com professional golf tour has been
established. We welcome all new players that want to showcase their
skills and talents in a fun and challenging format in Las Vegas, Nevada.
If you are 50 years of age or older and would enjoy competing
with some of the best senior golfers, this is the place for you. We are
very excited about the coming year with several events tentatively
scheduled in beautiful Southern Nevada. |

| Mission
Statement: |
| To establish a highly professional and competitive
environment for senior golfers while maintaining the tradition for the
game of golf. We will demonstrate integrity, honesty and professionalism
while providing the players an opportunity to compete against top notch
senior players, in a market that clearly has some of the best golf
courses in the nation. |
| |
| Format: |
The initial format for the first few tournaments will be
skins (single day 18 hole events). The first event is labeled as the
$20,000.00 skins challenge, open to the first 40 entries only. In a
skins competition it's one tie all tie, which could result in one winner
taking home the entire $20,000.00 purse. Or, you could have 10-12 skins
splitting the purse... depends on individual performance. In the
unlikely event that no skins are recorded, a system is in place for a
scorecard playoff to award the entire purse.
Future event formats may be 2-person best ball, 2-person
alternate shot, 2-person scramble, etc. We solicit your input and want
to develop the tournament events around your requests; let us know what
you think. All field sizes will be limited to the first 40 entries,
accepted on a first come, first serve basis. |
| |
| Eligibility: |
| Must be 50 years of age or older; proof of age required
before entry fee is accepted. All earnings will be reported on a 1099
accordingly at the conclusion of each event throughout the year (a
completed W-9 form must be on file with the Director of Golf to receive a
check). |
